Welcome to Vlug! By downloading, accessing, or using the Vlug app, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use the app.

By using Vlug, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your access to and use of the app’s services and features, including vocabulary reminders, Dutch exam preparation, and any subscription-based content.

2. Use of the App

Eligibility

You must be at least 7 years old to use Vlug. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

License

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Vlug for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

• Distribute, modify, or copy any content from the app without permission.

• Circumvent or attempt to bypass any features restricted to paid subscription users.

3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Vlug offers optional subscription plans that provide access to additional features, such as enhanced reminders, exclusive themes, and exam preparation materials.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed periodically (e.g., monthly or annually) via your app store account. Charges are non-refundable unless required by law.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription through the app store. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. Dutch Exams and Educational Content

Some Dutch exam preparation materials in Vlug are sourced from publicly available content such as PDFs and the Ad Appel platform. Vlug does not claim ownership of this content but curates and presents it in a structured, user-friendly format for educational purposes only.

5. User Responsibilities

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and ensuring that any activity under your account complies with these Terms.

User Content

By adding vocabulary or other content to the app, you grant us a license to use it solely for providing app functionalities. You confirm that you own or have the rights to any content you upload.

6. Data Privacy

Our use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the app, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the app (or any part of it) at any time without notice. We are not liable for any interruptions or loss resulting from these changes.
